Our top 10 most Instagrammable Locations

Although we’re not famous for our pleasant weather, London still remains one of the most photogenic cities in the world; an epicentre of fashion, culture, and art. (A great place to be if you’re an avid instagrammer)

It’s true what they say, the best spots are usually hard to find, but working as a location agent means we have the privilege of seeing the most unique and ‘insta-worthy’ locations before anyone else. From bohemian style boudoirs to modern chic restaurants and eclectic homes, we round up some delightful and unique locations that will bait tons of double taps on social media, and really add something special to your feed.

Whether you’re an influencer in search of new photo ops, or a tourist seeking out some hidden gems, get out, get ‘gramming, and have fun filling your feed with ravishing new content.

Henderson Road

New to the books, but easily one of our immediate favourites. Henderson has been recently designed to specifically work as a location for shoots and filming, and is therefore one of the most eclectic locations we have. It offers many different styles and moods throughout; some rooms offer a rich, masculine, Gentlemen’s club vibe, and other rooms emit a more feminine and romantic feel. Endless textures and romanticised backdrops means you can get not just one, but multiple shots for the gram.

Kempshott

Another one of our favourites, each room at Kempshott has a different style. From the enchanting to the pink-tastic, this location is any bloggers dream. Walk into a forest green room and get a snap in the iconic roll top bath, with the sun shining in enhancing the copper tones. In some parts it offers a ravaged and industrial feel, and then all of a sudden you find yourself immersed in a charming, vintage pastel pink parlour, with period features and Parisian style furnishings. There is also a stunning deep blue room styled as a lounge, with a gorgeous ornate fireplace decorated with candelabras, walls piled high with books, and the newest addition, Ziggy the zebra.

East London Gin Distillery

Don’t you just love it when a location does what it says on the tin? Take a hint from the name and expect lashings of gin under the brick arches of London’s hipster East end. Natural light transcends through floor to ceiling windows, and by night glittering  house lighting compliments a sparkling movement of relaxed local activity. The perfect joint to gather with friends and enjoy a gin martini, with stunning brick backdrops illuminated by a golden hue.

The Lordship Residency

We had to include our very own studio. Lordship Park was easily the most popular location on our books, and almost everyone in the creative industry had either known about it or shot there in the past. The Lordship Residency is an incarnation of this legendary space, created in order to preserve this famous and well loved location house. This truly iconic studio includes breathtaking features and backdrops such as a gigantic copper wall, 60’s checkerboard wall lights, a metal caged swing chair (because who doesn’t love a swing chair), and a Parisian style bed and dressing table. The final look resembles a Palace of Versailles crossed with a wave of retro 60’s eclecticism.

Clutch

Clutch is an intriguing and quirky location based in Shoreditch, around the corner from the historic Columbia Road flower market. It combines period features with contemporary and edgy interior design; communal seating, dark velvet textures, bold patterned carpets and gold details. And you can’t go wrong with a neon quote in the background. The exterior also offers multiple backdrops to compliment your photo; choose from a bright lemon yellow or a black and white stripe design.

Little Venice Rooms

Enter into a beautiful, feminine boudoir, with shabby chic, romantic accents. This gorgeous and dreamy location has a Parisian style with stunning faded grandeur. Perfect for that lounging in bed or dressing room photo wrapped in a silk robe. Cute pouffes, draped silk, and hanging lace all make for an enchanting Moulin Rouge feel – this location is the gift that keeps on giving!

Blakes Hotel

Blakes is a premier luxury boutique hotel based in Kensington, best known for its inspirational design and sophistication. If you’re looking for that stunning hotel shot for your social media then this is the hotel for you. It’s renowned as the ‘Couture’ hotel in London, and holds a certain cachet for film stars, musicians, and of course top designers, all captivated by its timeless style and elegance. If you’re lucky enough to stay there the night, the suites are truly spectacular with each one being a different colour and style. But you can also get just as many stunning shots going there for the day! There is a beautiful courtyard garden designed by Mathew Williamson, which features a freestanding gold birdcage that you can sit in and enjoy lunch (or just take photos like I did.)

A true Hackney gem. This Victorian terraced house includes pops of colour and unique patterned wallpaper throughout. Menagerie Restaurant and Bar Manchester

This stunning restaurant and bar in Manchester had many striking features that make it the perfect location for a night out when you’re after that ‘insta-worthy’ shot. There’s an actual catwalk (if you take your modeling seriously) a gold plated bar, an abundance of neon lights, velvet plush booths, a birdcage, a human size pink floral elephant, and the essential roll top bath filled with ball pit balls. Poodle and Blonde

Last but by no means least. We can’t decide what we love most about this location. The bed of dreams in the shell themed room with coral wallpaper? The retro 70’s style lounge? Or the pink marbled vintage bathroom? Curated by interior designer and instagram Queen, Whinnie Williams, (featured) this location is any woman’s photo shoot dream come true. With so many different rooms to choose from, and with retro vintage definitely being on trend, there is so much you can do with this ravishing and antique location with a modern twist.
