Wellington, Maidenhead
A Victorian end of terrace house on a quiet road with a newly refurbished and extended ground floor. The kitchen has been purpose-built with filming in mind. The owner has worked in food television, editorial and advertising for over 12 years and has equipped the space with everything needed for kitchen filming. The large central island has a recessed gas hob, with flush-fitted ceiling extraction (not hood hanging down in the way of shot). Double ovens, a large fridge and open oak shelving which can be dressed to suit the shoot. All appliances are from KitchenAid so are of the highest quality and performance. The Neolith work surfaces and the bespoke kitchen cabinets all have a matte finish, meaning no reflection on camera. There are windows in the roof on two sides and large doors and a full length window to the rear provide plenty of natural light.

Liebling Chateau
Modernised period location house in North London’s Kensal Rise. The property boasts a particularly large rear extension that incorporates many key trends of current contemporary design. This includes a marble and copper kitchen island/breakfast bar, coloured kitchen units, poured concrete flooring and textured walls. Throughout the property the owners have set a collection of modern furniture against a white backdrop with some of the features – e.g. the staircase – painted in block colours to make an impact. Many items of furniture exhibit mid-century qualities and much detail has been paid to making the property homely without risking the loss of a sense of space, style and clean lines.

A small front garden can be used to light through with a HMI, and the larger rear garden can also accommodate HMI’s and other film equipment. The walls are all painted in Farrow & Ball or Little Greene paints, and can be re-painted to any colour ( as can the kitchen cabinets ) by prior arrangement.
