In the heart of Hardy country a small Medieval Flint Church sits within the boundaries of a farm mentioned in the doomsday book. It sits within a small hamlet of farm properties including thatched stables, and a tythe barn. Surrounded by water meadows, woodland and fords the area has a timeless atmosphere. The church retains most of it's original fixtures and fittings including stained glass and lead windows, pews, 16c church bells and font. A topiary pathway covered in snowdrops and bluebells in season leads you to a porched entrance with a few remaining grave stones in the surrounding churchyard. The small tythe barn is approached via a private road through the farm and stands alone surrounded by pasture land. There are other farm buildings on the property which could be discussed for possible locations including a menage for horses, disused barns and the surrounding meadows and woodland.
