Leonards House
East Sussex
Leonards House, East Sussex
A large mid Victorian c.1850 red brick house. It is half of an old lodge therefore semi-detached, but not like an average semi-detached house! It has a garden in the back of about a quarter of an acre. It has large rooms with high ceilings and lots of daylight with original wooden sash windows. There is a consistent white, light, feminine theme through the property; ornate furniture and fireplaces decorate the rooms. There is the occasional pop of colour in the fabric and vintage style wares that compliment the neutral interiors. There are also beach-house elements to the property and a touch of distressing/shabby chicness to some of the furnishing and also to the wall of one of the annexe rooms that offers exposed brick and concrete flooring. The property is just a 5 minute walk from the sea in Hastings, East Sussex. This page includes some images of the stunning surrounding area; these areas aren’t represented by the owner but are hear to serve as a flavour of the local area and some inspiration for your shoot.
