Set in Willingdon Village which is at the foot of the South Downs in a conservation area about 3 miles from Eastbourne and the Victorian seafront. Hockington House was built in 1840 and was originally an agricultural school for residents in the town's poor houses. The village has many Grade II or older buildings. At the bottom of the Lane where Hockington House sits are a row of 4 flint cottages that were built in 1750 for agricultural workers. We own two of these. Hockington House sits on a pot that's approx 3/4 of an acre and there's off road parking for 8 cars.
Local train stations, hotels, restaurants and parking.
