A country estate based in South East Cornwall near Liskeard, tucked down two miles of private driveway so you cannot be disturbed. The 18th century main house (recently restored) and Stable Yard were both worked on by architect Sir John Soane. In the house there is a large ornately plastered Drawing Room, Smoking Room, Panelled Dining Room, the Garden Room and a double staircase with dramatic wall and ceiling paintings. The interior design of the bedrooms has been kept classical but with a fresh comtemporary style. There are hundreds of acres of park and woodland, a Georgian bathhouse, miles of private roads and tracks through the woods, a dove cote, large lake and streams running down the valleys, celtic crosses, a 123ft obelisk put up in 1771, old granite water troughs and 19th century stone bridges, delapidated cottages and watermills. Located in Cornwall.
