Last week we were thrilled to have teamed up with #NewBlood17 for the D&AD. The aim of the day? To engage with emerging talent, giving them an insight into the industry and jj Media Group. The D&AD New Blood looks to provide students from far and wide with the tools to succeed in industry, and here’s how we got involved…
After we kicked off the day welcoming the students into our very own APEX studio, with goody bags, refreshments, and our excitement to have them there, we gave them a little inside knowledge into jj and what to expect as they take their future steps into the industry. With presentations from one of our Directors, Guy Heritage, Amy Green our Marketing Manager and last but not least Steve, our absolute tech wiz!
From testing the Briese 220 HMI, 100 Megapixel cameras, to pulling focus with the ARRI camera on a dolly, the students got the chance to get hands-on and experience some high end, industry level kit.
